Keeping hotdezk covid-secure
How we reacted
Like all businesses, we have been greatly impacted by the coronavirus crisis.
Keeping our staff, members and visitors safe during the pandemic is the number one priority of hotdezk.
Lockdown, imposing heavy restrictions on the UK population, started on 23rd March 2020 and has become a recurring theme as the pandemic has had its ups and downs. As of February 2021, the pandemic is ongoing and we continue to monitor government advice, guidelines and rules. While we continue to operate, we have taken steps to insure our business offers a safe and secure working space.
The steps we have taken at a high level are:
- Undertaken a risk assessment specific to covid-19
- Identified operational changes such as suspension of membership types; reduction in capacity and social distancing layout
- Produced working practices guidelines which we ask our members to follow
- Update our Terms and Conditions with regard the pandemic
Government guidelines on safe working in offices are found here.
Our risk assessment, and the actions it identified, can be viewed by clicking here. We are happy to listen to any comments that you may have on this – simply use our contact form or email us.
If you become a member, you will need to agree to our ‘covid working practices‘, as well as our standard Terms and Conditions.
The future
We do feel that the crisis may cause a fundamental change in companies and people’s attitude to remote working. Why spend 4 hours a day commuting every day when you can be just as effective working away from the office? In some cases, however, working from the kitchen table may not quite offer a full-time solution.
We believe that our hotdezk offices can bridge that gap – work professionally and effectively, but locally.

Stay safe!
